Description

This is an early 19th century facade applied to a timber-framed house. The facade is constructed of painted brick, with some timber exposed. It has a steeply pitched roof covered in modern tiles. The building is two storeys high with two windows. The first-floor windows are early 19th century casements, while the ground floor features an altered 19th century shop window and a doorway. The shop window retains only vertical glazing bars.

The building is part of a group with numbers 1 to 11 (odd) and 15 to 25 (odd), along with other properties including Denmark House, Elm House, Ruperts Elm, Ruperts Guard, White House, the Obelisk, and number 30. It also forms a group with numbers 93 and 95, numbers 70 to 102 (even), the rear building of number 70 Bell Street, and with Tarrys Cottage, Bell Cottage, and the flat on Rupert's Lane.
