Description

Two barns, located approximately 20 metres to the south-east of Nettlebed Farmhouse, were likely built in the early 18th century, with a later barn added to the east in the late 18th century. They feature a flint base with brick dressings and a timber frame, which is weatherboarded, topped with a plain tile roof. The barns are arranged in an L-plan configuration, consisting of two 3-bay barns with aisles to the south, positioned end to end with the later barn set at right angles. The western barn has a midstrey that is blocked by weatherboarding, and it includes jowled wall posts and a curved principal roof.
