Description
These are two 18th-century buildings with a facade dating from the early 19th century. They have a hipped slate roof. The building is three storeys high, except for the western part (No. 21), which is two storeys and includes a flat-roofed dormer window. The windows are sash windows with architraves; the first-floor windows also have consoles on cornices and outer pilasters. No. 21 has two windows with applied casing. The ground floor features a shop front shared by both Nos. 19 and 21, added in the later 19th century. This shop front has a round-arched design with solid tympana, and is filled with plate glass or doors. An ornamental iron-crested canopy covers the shop front.
Numbers 5 to 31 (odd) and the Town Hall constitute a group of buildings that are associated with No. 10, as are numbers 20 to 36 (even), and the barn located at the rear of numbers 32 to 34 (even) on the opposite side of the Market Place.
