Description

This building is a barn and stables located approximately 20 meters north of Knapp Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. The barn features weatherboarding over a light timber frame set on a brick base, topped with a gabled old tile roof and has a seven-bay plan. It includes plank double doors with old strap hinges and a small inner door. Inside, there is a seven-bay collar-truss roof with clasped purlins and braced posts. The stables to the right, also from the late 18th century, are constructed of brick and share the same roof, featuring segmental arches over the doors and window openings. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
