Description
The lychgate and attached walls, located approximately 30 meters north of the Church of St. Mary, were built around 1858, likely designed by Henry Woodyer. The structure features a stone base with timber framing and a plain tile roof. It has an archway adorned with pierced trefoils in the spandrels and includes double gates. The roof is gabled, with cross-gables at both the front and rear. The flanking walls are made of flint and topped with angled stone coping on both sides. This structure is included for its group value.
