Description
North Moreton Lodge is a late 17th-century house. The left side of the building is painted brick, while the right side is roughcast, likely over brickwork. The roof is of old plain tiles, with brick end stacks and a ridge stack located to the left of the centre. The house is arranged with a 3-unit lobby-entry plan and a cross-wing to the rear right. It has a symmetrical, 3-window facade over two storeys. A plank door is positioned to the left of the centre, sheltered by a flat hood. The ground floor has a 3-light leaded wood casement window to the left, a central window of the same type, and a 4-light leaded wood casement on the right. The first floor mirrors this, with a 3-light leaded wood casement on the left, a central 3-light window, and a 2-light leaded wood casement to the right. A dentil course runs along the eaves. The right side of the house features a cross-gable. The interior has not been inspected. A 19th-century iron railing with spear finials and vase finials on the main posts runs from the front corner along the front of the house.
