Description
The Horse and Harrow Public House is a 17th-century building with a 19th-century extension on the left. It features timber framing with rendered infill on the right return of the cross wing at the center, painted limestone rubble, and painted brick on the left. The roof is covered with plain tiles and includes brick stacks. The structure is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There is a plank door to the right and irregularly placed casement windows, with 19th-century sash windows on the left. Gabled dormers are present, along with a ridge stack on the right and an end stack on the cross wing at the center. Inside, the saloon bar contains a volo-chamfered spine beam and an open fireplace.
