Description
This barn, located approximately 5 meters northwest of the Crown Inn Public House, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features 20th-century weatherboarding over square timber framing set on a flint base, topped with a half-hipped thatch roof. The barn has a 20th-century door and windows, and to the right, there is a late 19th-century porch made of flint rubble with brick dressings and a hipped thatch roof. Inside, the barn has a four-bay roof supported by queen-post trusses with clasped purlins on the left side, and two collar trusses with curved principal rafters. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby Crown Inn.
