Description

Number 24 on Market Place is an early 19th-century building with a facade made of red brick, featuring bracketed eaves. The roof is not visible. The structure has three storeys and two windows, which are sash windows with later 19th-century glazing. The ground floor has a modern shop front. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 20 to 36 (even), a barn at the rear of Nos 32 to 34 (even), the Town Hall, and Nos 5 to 31 (odd) across the street. The rear of the building is timber framed.
