Description

57 Holywell Street is a house dating from the 17th century, although it has been altered. It is three stories tall and features stuccoed timber-framing with cellars. The building has an overhang at the first floor and a large central gable topped with a moulded pediment, all under a Welsh slate roof. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows set in modern frames, along with bay windows that have modern three-light casements in moulded wood frames. The first-floor window features a keystoned wood entablature. This house is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side of Holywell Street.
