Description

The statue of the Earl of Pembroke is located in the Bodleian courtyard and was erected in 1723. It is a bronze standing figure modeled after Rubens, set on a marble pedestal that features an inscription. The statue is likely from the 17th century. The buildings in Radcliffe Square, where the statue is situated, are of great significance as they represent the center of the University of Oxford.
