Description

Hertford College's West Range was built between 1820 and 1822, designed by E.W. Garbett. The North and South blocks are constructed of Headington freestone on the east side and Bath stone on the west. The South block has been converted into the Principal's Lodging. The central block features a gatehouse designed by Sir Thomas Jackson, completed between 1887 and 1889, made of Doulting stone.
