Description

The Main (or Danby) Gateway, located in the centre of the Botanic Gardens on the south side of High Street, was constructed in 1632 by Nicholas Stone using Headington freestone. The gateway features a flanking wall and two doorways. It is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side.
