Description

Magdalen Bridge, located on the north side of High Street, was originally built in 1485 and later rebuilt between 1772 and 1777 according to the design of John Gwynn, who was the City Architect at the time. In 1882-1883, the bridge was widened using Taynton Stone. The listed buildings on the north side of the bridge are recognized as a group.
