Description
50 and 51 Broad Street is an early 18th century building with a timber-framed structure covered in stucco. It features rusticated quoins and a hipped roof made of Welsh slate, which includes two pedimented attic dormers. The building has a repaired cornice and the upper floors overhang. On the first floor, there are four sash windows in moulded wood frames, each with moulded cornices. The second floor also has four sash windows, all equipped with shutters and glazing bars. The structure was likely originally two separate houses. Inside, there are two original staircases. This building is part of a group with Nos 48 to 53 and is located near Trinity and Balliol Colleges.
