Description
This is a chest tomb dedicated to Ralph Tayler, dated 1646, located approximately 1 meter south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. The tomb is from the 17th century and is made of ironstone. It features a chamfered, moulded ledger slab with panels that have strapwork decoration. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of Mr. Ralph Tayler ... deceased this life the 13th day of December 1646."
