Description

Home Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed from roughcast limestone rubble and features wooden lintels. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has rubble and brick ridge stacks. The layout consists of a four-unit plan with a rear wing, and the building stands two storeys tall, with an additional attic space.

The front of the house has four windows and a four-panel door located to the right of centre, which is sheltered by a large wooden porch that includes flanking settles and some 17th-century panelling. The first-floor windows are casements with 2, 3, 3, and 4 lights, while the ground-floor windows have casements with 2, 3, 2, and 4 lights, all featuring leaded glazing. There is a small blocked window on the first floor at the extreme left. The roof has large rubble-based stacks on the right gable and to the left of the entrance, with the latter featuring diagonal stacks and both having renewed brickwork. There is also a rebuilt stack on the left gable. The lower rear wing extends from the left end of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
