Description

Ammareque (No.24) and Lowry (No.25) are two shops with dwellings above, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with brick end stacks. The buildings are three storeys high, each with a single-window width. The shop front on the left is from the 20th century, while the one on the right dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. No.24 has renewed windows with stepped stone voussoirs on the first and second floors, while No.25 has sash windows with glazing bars and stepped stone voussoirs. The interior has not been inspected. These buildings are included for their group value.
