Description
This granary, located approximately 50 meters north of Cottisford House, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with the upper part made of red brick featuring glazed headers. The building is supported by limestone piers, with the spaces between them infilled in the 20th century. The roof is covered with 20th-century tiles. Access is provided by ladder steps to an entrance on the left, which features a plank door with a wooden lintel. There are also two-light casement and two-light fixed windows. Inside, the granary has a butt-purlin roof. This structure is included for its group value.
