Description

This sundial, located approximately 7 meters east of Groombridge Place, is likely from the 18th century and made of sandstone. It features an octagonal shaft with a splayed base and head, where the shaft is stepped and the head sits above a projecting band. The sundial stands on an octagonal one-step plinth. There is an inscribed slate plaque on top, although it is missing its arm.
