The Courthope Chest Tomb, located 3 yards south of the Church of St Dunstan in Cranbrook, is a chest tomb dating from the late 17th century. It is made of stone and features a marble inscription slab on the south side. The tomb has a moulded base and a chamfered slab. The inscription reads "Alexander Courthope, d. 16?8."
