Description

Bradworth Lodge and Cromwell House are a pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century. They were originally built as the vicarage. The construction is primarily red and blue brick with ashlar dressings and a plain tiled roof. The houses are two storeys and have an attic, built on a plinth with a moulded string course and a parapet. The gabled roof rises to a gable on the right, incorporating a projecting and moulded stack cluster, with a similar stack at the end on the left. The front elevation features wooden casements on the first floor and a cross window to the left on the ground floor, with a boarded door in a gabled porch. The porch has an arms cartouche above the door. The right return has two full-height canted bays to the left and right, with two casements between on each floor. The left return has less ornate detailing, with irregular fenestration and a large central gable, and a 20th-century columned porch has been added to the centre.
