Description

Bentham Hill East Lodge, built around 1830, is likely designed by Decimus Burton. This lodge is constructed from ashlar stone in a Tudor Gothic cottage style. It features a tiled roof with two octagonal stone chimneys and overhanging eaves. The barge-boards are scalloped and adorned with pendants and finials. The building has one storey and an attic, with one window in the gable ends, which includes a small pointed arch, and three windows on the main north front. The windows are casement style, and the entrance is located to the right of the north front, featuring a projecting gable.
