Description

Blackhurst is an early 19th-century house built in the style of Decimus Burton. It is constructed of stone and has an irregular shape, with a slate roof. The house is two storeys high and features three open pediments supported by brackets. The windows are cambered, single- or three-light sashes. To the right of the main house is a two-storey range with a slate roof and five sash windows. Adjoining this range is a single-storey stable block built of ashlar, topped with a pediment. The stable block has a hipped slate roof and sash windows. Blackhurst and its associated lodge form a group of buildings.
