Description

The Warne Monument is a chest tomb located 15 metres north of the west tower of the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin in West Malling. It dates from around 1790 and features a deep rectangular shape with a moulded base. The tomb includes fielded inscription panels, a moulded cornice, and a fluted entablature. It is set on a two-stepped plinth that originally had a railed enclosure.
