Description

Smeed's Cottages are two timber-framed cottages dating from 1732. The ground floor has been mostly rebuilt in red brick, although some timber framing is still visible on the north cottage, which is also tile hung. The cottages have a tiled roof with half-hipped gables at each end that contain attic windows. They feature casement windows and are two storeys high with an attic, having a total of two windows.
