Description

This is a wall located 100 yards north of the Bull Hotel, dating from the 13th to 14th century. It is constructed of random and coursed rubble stone and measures four sections in a square, approximately 40 yards by 30 yards. The east wall is partly derelict, while the west wall is partially part of the churchyard. The wall stands 8 feet high and includes remains of the original wall that belonged to the Archbishop's Palace. It does not enclose part of the grounds of the Bull Hotel and partly serves as a churchyard wall.
