Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse, with a later addition. The ground floor is built of brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, featuring a moulded dentilled eaves cornice, two hipped dormers, and end stacks. The front facade is two storeys high with a three-window arrangement. The first floor has three 19th-century casement windows. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows from the early to mid-19th century on either side of the central entrance. The central entrance has a panelled door approached by four steps, topped with a flat, projecting moulded hood. The gable ends have tile-hanging. A later, lower, two-storey addition extends from the south side. To the rear, three half-hipped gables almost cover the full length of the front. The rear elevation has two storeys and three windows, featuring 19th-century casement windows. A door with a flat projecting hood is located between the first and second gables from the left. A later catslide addition extends from the right side of the rear.
