Description

Great Canon Court is a farmhouse dating to the 17th century, significantly altered in the 18th or early 19th century. The construction is of red brick and rendered surfaces, with a slate roof. The building comprises two storeys. A remnant of the original 17th-century farmhouse exists at the rear. A wing from the 18th century is positioned on the left side of the south front, featuring a two-storey canted bay window facing west. An early to mid-19th century addition extends to the right. The main front has a two-window arrangement. Sash windows are present on both floors. A large square-bay window is situated to the right of the entrance door, featuring a tripartite sash window. The central entrance has a half-glazed and panelled door within a pilastered surround and entablature.
