Description
The boundary wall to the Coastguard Cottages, located east, south, and west of the courtyard, was built in 1865. It is constructed from red brick and flint, featuring ashlar dressings. The wall stands approximately 4 feet high on a plinth, with flint paneling, arcading, and stone coping. It runs along the entire road frontage of the complex and returns to the left and right towards the cottages. The ends of the wall are finished with piers that have caps, also about 4 feet high. The front range includes three entrance breaks, each marked by cusped finialed piers.
