Description
Nos 7 to 12 Caroline Square are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys high with a basement, constructed from brown brick. The façades of the buildings vary, with No 12 currently painted, No 11 pebble dashed, and No 10 finished in stucco. Each house features one sash window and a three-light canted bay window that extends over both storeys, with some original glazing bars still visible. The doorways are simply designed with round-headed doorcases, and many retain their original six-fielded panelled doors. The area has restored railings and stone coping, with three or four stone steps leading up to the street. Nos 7 to 12 form a cohesive group.
