Description

Nine Nails is a house dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame that has been refronted with painted brick, while the right side is roughcast. The roof is thatched and plain tiled. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a jetty on the right side, possibly supported by dragon posts. The roof is hipped and has a cluster of stacks on the centre left. On the first floor, there are two metal casements, and on the ground floor, there are two wooden casements along with a half-glazed door to the centre left, which is flanked by small sidelights. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
