Description

A pair of early 19th century houses located on Hawley Square. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement and an area, constructed of brown brick with red brick relieving arches. They feature five windows, with two additional blocked window spaces. The front of each house has a curved facade with two windows. A parapet and a cornice ornamented with modillions are present. The original glazing bars have been lost. The doorcases are round-headed, featuring semi-circular fanlights. Cast iron area railings are also present. Numbers 19 to 24 and numbers 26 and 27 form a notable group.
