Description

38 Hawley Square is a house dating from around 1820. It is built from painted brick and features a castellated parapet with squat towers at either end of the front. The house has two storeys, while the towers rise to three storeys. There are six windows in total; most are ordinary sash windows, but the first and second floors of the towers have pointed casement windows. The entrance has a round-headed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel moulded door. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 28 to 38 in consecutive order.
