Description
Provender Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century but was clad in 1750. It features a timber frame covered with a pattern of red and blue brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a basement, showcasing a plinth and a wooden eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof that has gablets. There are stacks positioned to the centre left and projecting at the end right, along with two hipped dormers. The first floor has four wooden casement windows and two blank window spaces, while the ground floor has five wooden casements and a central door with two panels topped by a flat cornice hood. There are also two basement openings to the left. The brickwork to the right of the ground floor window at the end right is dated 1750. Inside, the farmhouse features moulded ceiling joists and exposed chamfered jowled posts with flat tie beams.
