Description

20 High Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics, constructed of painted brick. It features a half-hipped tiled roof with two hipped dormers. The building has a moulded eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are three sash windows, with the upper halves retaining their original glazing bars, while the lower halves do not. The ground floor also has three sash windows, which have verticals only. The entrance is framed by a doorcase with fluted pilasters and panelled reveals, and it displays fine fluted moulding around the architrave, along with dentils and a plain lintel board. The building is set on a brick plinth.
