Stringmans Farmhouse

Stringmans Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 15th to the 18th century. It is timber framed and has exposed sections with painted brick and plaster infill, as well as part weatherboarding on the left side. The house features a structural brick extension on the right. It consists of three framed bays and an additional brick bay, standing two storeys high on a flint plinth. The large panel framing includes tension braces, and there is an end jetty on the left side, with the second and third bays on the right also jettied on dragon posts. The roof is hipped with gablets and has a stack located to the centre right. There are three wooden casements on each floor and a boarded door to the right of the stack. The slightly projecting brick extension to the right is one storey with an attic, featuring two hipped dormers, one wooden casement, and French doors. The rear side of the house has a continuous jetty.
