Description

This is an oast house located adjacent to Church Farmhouse, dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries. It features 18th century chequered red and blue brick double cylindrical roundels topped with a plain tile conical roof. The 19th century section is built of buff brick and includes a cylindrical roundel with a plain tiled roof. The oast house stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a half-hipped roof and a gabled loft door. There are two metal barred wood casement windows on each floor, along with a central double board door that has a single board door above it. This building is included for its group value only.
