Description
Bistock Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is clad with painted brick on the ground floor and plaster on the first floor, topped by a plain tiled roof. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high, with a tiled stringcourse and a hipped roof that has a stack positioned to the centre right. On each floor, there are three round-headed wood casements with Gothick tracery, and an additional stair-light is located to the centre right above a 20th-century plank and stud door that has a flat hood. The timber frame is exposed on the left return and the rear fronts.
