Description

This is a group of early 18th-century houses on the south side of High Street. They are two storeys with attics, and are built of brick or stucco. The properties have five hipped dormers and a moulded eaves cornice. Five original sash windows remain in exposed frames, although three are blanked and one has been altered. Number 83 has a later 19th-century shopfront. Number 89 features a doorcase with a six-panelled door, the top two panels cut away and glazed. Numbers 89 and 91 have a fine brick plinth and band.
