The Former Brents Tavern, dating from around 1840, is a three-storey building featuring three windows. It is constructed of painted brick and has a wide eaves bracket cornice. The hipped slate roof is adorned with lead ridges. The glazing bars are intact. On the ground floor, there is a three-light sash window with a central light that is bowed, and the bays are flanked by pilasters with a plain fascia above.
