UPPER BRENTS (north-west side) Former Brents Tavern

(Formerly listed as No 44 (The Brents Tavern) previously listed as No 44 (The Events Tavern))

II Circa 1840. Three storeys. Three windows. Painted brick. Wide eaves bracket cornice. Hipped slate roof, with lead ridges. Glazing bars intact. On ground floor, three-light sash window with centre light bowed; bays flanked by pilasters with plain fascia over. Five steps with brick balusters leading up to wide veranda extending across whole of front. Modern central doorway.
