Description
No. 213 is a 16th-century house located on Boughton Street. It features a timber frame that is exposed with plaster infill and has a plain tiled roof. The building consists of three framed bays and is two storeys high with a basement. It has a continuous jetty supported by brackets and a hipped roof, with a stack positioned at the rear right. The rear wing has a return hip that oversails the ridge to the centre right.
On the first floor, there are three 20th-century oriel windows with mullions and transoms, accompanied by mullioned sidelights. The ground floor has three horizontal sliding glazing bar sash windows. The entrance includes a plank and stud door with a mullioned sidelight in the centre, and a ribbed panelled door at the end left in the outshot. There is also a blocked arched doorway to the right and three openings leading to the basement.
