Description

No. 258 is a public house that has been converted into a house, built in 1766. It features a red brick exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has brick corbelled eaves, with chimney stacks located at both the left and right ends. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, including two glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two canted bays on the ground floor. There is a central half-glazed door that is framed by a fluted pilaster surround and topped with a flat hood. This building was formerly known as the Dolphin Inn, and the year 1766 is inscribed on the brickwork.
