Description
This is a barn located about 30 metres north of Ham Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and is clad with weatherboarding, featuring some painted brick and breeze block on the end walls, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has a half-hipped roof and includes cart doors on the left end elevation. Inside, there are five bays with aisles, and the timbers display an irregular finish and relatively slight scantling. The structure features a mix of straight and arched bracing, along with straight passing shores to the main posts. The roof has been renewed with clasped purlins.
