Description

98 West Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features two window bays. It has a tried hipped roof and is constructed of painted brick. The windows are set in reveals and retain their original glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a modern contemporary-style bow fronted shop window with a brick stall-riser and a brick pilaster at the eastern end. To the left, there is a six-panelled door set in reveals, with the top two panels being glazed and set away from the door. This building, along with Nos 93 to 98, forms a group.
