Description

These are two buildings, numbers 96 and 97, located on the north side of West Street. They date from the 16th and 17th centuries and are similar in style and height to other buildings in the area. Number 96 has a painted wooden facade designed to resemble masonry, featuring a gable. Number 97 has a roof covered with mathematical tiles and a wooden eaves cornice, with one dormer window. Both buildings have tiled roofs. A modern shop front has been added to number 97. The original glazing bars remain on the first floor of number 97. Buildings numbers 93 to 98 form a group.
