Description

Doubleton Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has been recased in later materials. The farmhouse is two storeys high and features four windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with a ridge stack. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is constructed of brick. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern styles. There is a lean-to extension on the front left, which may have originally been at the back of the house, and there are mid-19th-century extensions at the back. Inside, much of the timber framing is exposed.
