Description

The monument to William Hardyman, located in the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul to the east of the church, dates from around 1761. It features a stone casket set on a plinth of two steps. Each side of the casket displays an oval with the names of the deceased, flanked by wheat ear drops and paterae. Atop this is a smaller draped casket that is crowned with an urn.
