Description
Hodsoll House is an 18th-century building located on the north-east side of High Street, Farningham. It comprises two identical parallel ranges. The facades are faced with weatherboarding, and the building has a tiled roof and parapet. There are three sash windows with intact glazing bars. Two wide bays feature tripartite windows on both floors, with reeded pilasters surrounding the windows. A doorcase, accessed by four steps, has pilasters, an open pediment supported by console brackets, and an enriched semi-circular fanlight above the door. A one-storey weatherboarded extension was added in the 19th century to the left-hand side.
