Description

The Old Bakehouse and Cart Shed in Farningham is an early 19th-century structure. It is a single-storey building made of stock brick with a slate roof. The front facing the High Street features part of an 18th-century wall constructed from red brick and flint. The gable is weatherboarded, and there is a large chimney for the old bake oven. The building is connected to an 18th-century open cart shed that has a tiled roof supported by square wooden pillars.
